Not the first time the words “Uncharted 3” and “co-op” have appeared in the same sentence, eagle-eyed treasure hunters have spotted what looks like split-screen footage in Naughty Dog’s very own behind-the-scenes video. The snippet is below.
What are you looking for? The last of the five seconds when an AK-47 icon can be seen at the bottom of the player’s screen. Which, obviously, would be the top of your ally’s screen.
Adding fuel to the rumour fire, Gamestop have also listed support “for up to two players” in Uncharted 3.

Awesome indeed but would prefer online co op though. Splitcsreen just takes up my half of 42″ lCD telly lol, I prefer playing Uncharted on a 42″ LCD as Nate =D
I struggled on MW2 co op splitscreen on Expert!

Split screen would be great, as long as they still keep the online co-op from UC2.

I really enjoyed the online co op modes of Uncharted 2, hopefully these are still there!

Agreed. I wouldn’t want to lose the online co-op part, but adding split screen local co-op as an extra element would be most welcome.

That certainly looks like co-op. I would see no reason why they wouldn’t put it in, even if they tacked it on. But that’s not like Naughty Dog ;-)

I personally think co-op would ruin the single-player, it’s called single-player for a reason! But, I’m not against a separate game-mode for split-screen co-op and going online with it.
