MotorStorm Apocalypse To Get Logitech Support

Evolution’s Matt Southern has just announced, via the magic of Twitter, that his latest game MotorStorm Apocalypse will be getting a patch down the line to include Logitech wheel support.

“Am I allowed to say MotorStorm Apocalypse is going to have a free update to support Logitech wheels, and is truly amazing? No? Oops,” went the Tweet.

He confirmed that the patch that appeared today isn’t this particular update, though, so those lucky enough to have the game already and own of force feedback wheels normally reserved for hardcore driving simulations need to hang on a little longer.

We’re fairly sure it’ll be well worth the wait.

MotorStorm Apocalypse releases March 31st.  Our full review is here.

  1. Excellent news, can’t wait :)

  2. Now if they could just patch it so it had the same control feel as the original I’d be happy.

    • +100. From what I’ve played of it so far, it really doesn’t feel like the original :(

  3. The update (1.02) today is the 2nd so far and it’s not meant to be released yet.

  4. Interesting but I don’t think it’s the sort of game I’d like to play with a wheel; too ‘arcadey’…

    • I know, it’s a bit weird, hopefully there will be alot of mapping and options to tweak!

  5. They can start by fixing the online and Leaderboard.

  6. Awesome news – has anyone got a wheelstand pro? i am thinking of getting one but its a pricey option
