This bit of news has been causing all sorts of debate this morning, but a user over on GTPlanet has uncovered some interesting information regarding GT5. Whilst looking around the Remote Racing section of the official GT5 “My Home” website he uncovered 24 logos for tracks that aren’t currently playable in the game.
These logos were accessible under a GT5-specific image directory, and had been sized to fit the GT5 Remote Racing site. The list of tracks is as follows:
- Driving Park (20r60r)
- Apricot Hill
- Citta di Aria
- Costa di Amalfi
- Grand Canyon
- Hong Kong
- Ice Arena
- Infineon Raceway
- Driving Park (Kashiwa)
- Las Vegas
- Midfield Raceway
- Twin Ring Motegi
- New York
- George V Paris
- Opera Paris (Tarmac)
- Seattle Circuit
- Seoul Circuit
- Swiss Alps South
- Tahiti Maze
- Valencia Circuit
- El Capitan
- Cathedral Rocks (Dirt)
- Cathedral Rocks (Dirt Mini)
- Cathedral Rocks (Dirt Short)
A brand new set of tracks would certainly take some of the shine off Forza 4 if released around E3…

That’s alot of tracks for one set of dlc, I’m thinking these may be in multiple packs?

I’m thinking Polyphony have something interesting news to spill soon.
Probably a little early for this but they did mention GT6 would have a much shorter development cycle.

Being able to log in and use the remote racing on my pc would be a start. I know they reported the issue with IE8 but tried it with Mozilla Firefox and still couldn’t log in.

I could never log in using IE8, but have no problem at all with Google Chrome….in fact I use Chrome with all websites now (much faster and more reliable) apart from TSA as I can’t seem get the pages to display properly.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but this could just as easily be tracks that were cut from GT5 and we may never see them…………but of course I hope it is an update/dlc!

I am sceptical also, but it is fun to surmise.

El Capitan Baby!

Gran(d) Canyon sounds neat. But I think some real-world roads could be great, like some of the roads shown on special Top Gear episodes and alike. I don’t care if they’re not cicuits, just make them long. And it’s also worth noting that a car can turn around and drive back aswell.

Awesome!
I’d love to take my Subaru along Swiss Alps South!

Tsk, I hate DLC. I can’t buy them and it’s bothering me that others get to have play while I can’t. Call me selfish, but if you’d be in my shoes I don’t think many wouldn’t be butthurt about this.
Let’s hope they include it in a patch instead. :)

*…get to play them…

Maybe they are for GT6 :)
