“Join us as we follow Staff Sgt. Black and his team of U.S. Marines into the bad part of town,” say EA as they unveil their latest video, “as they move to the rooftops to eliminate an enemy sniper in an abandoned hotel.”
This 12 minute collection of in-game footage shows off the “ANT animation technology” as Sgt. Black is tasked with disarming a bomb, leading to first-person melee combat with the bomber and a large-scale firefight in the streets.

I like the high production value that’s gone into it, but unfortunately I care not for the campaign mode, especially when it looks like a suped-up COD beater.
Battlefield is the only series where I value the multiplayer over campaign and that’s where my interests lie, nail the gameplay found in BF2 and 2142 and they’ve got a sure fire hit that pulls in the COD crowd via campaign emulation and pleases the legions of fans from the MP front……I just hope there’s no sacrifices from gameplay beyond the lack of commander as pandering to the market in that way is sure to lose fans.
In addition, anyone see the advet in ITV today during the FA cup half-time? Don’t think I’ve ever seen a TV ad so far in advance to advertise a pre-order for 7 months time :/

I thought that looked great. I saw a trailer for it on TV earlier today too and my attention has definitely been grabbed. I’ve never played a BF game apart from a demo/beta of BFBC2 for about 5 mins, but this one looks too good to ignore.
