AC: Revelations Will Be Ezio’s Final Chapter

Goodbye to our Reneissance man.

One of the year’s most anticipated games, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, will grace the cover of June’s Game Informer. It has been confirmed that players will switch between the roles of Ezio, Desmond, and Altair, throughout the game, though the game’s narrative has yet to be outlined. The magazine continues:

Uncover a brand new part of the world as Ezio travels abroad for the first time to explore the wonders of Constantinople at the height of the Ottoman Empire. Learn about all the new features that set Revelations apart, from a brand new weapon and tool that changes the way you’ll fight and traverse the world, to extensive details on the newly customizable multiplayer game.

For a series which is thought to have reached its peak in terms of innovation, these new features sound to be counteracting evidence, and along with the recent teasers posted on the official AC Facebook page, this reveal strongly suggests that Revelations will be one of the poster boys of this year’s E3 conference.

  1. Game Informer often get quite good announcements.

  3. Tbh the story is fantastic, i dont care if theres no graphical improvements, maybe a few new perks for gameplay, its the story that make the games for me, brotherhoof felt like 3 to me, a lot happened outside the animus which for everyone who didnt buy it plays a lot in the ac story, cant wait

  4. E3 is going to be huge for Ubisoft this year.

  5. I hope this doesn’t have online trophies :( I missed out on brotherhood due to their inclusion, I have a wireless internet connection which makes most online games unplayable on the ps3.

  6. Loved the Ezio AC games but not that fussed on Altair. AC1 while good in some parts, was pretty pants in many others. Would be great to play as Altair as long as he has Ezio’s fluidity. Quite dissapointed in UBI, i remember them saying there would be no AC in 2011, the world needs more than a years break from AC or it is gonna get stale.

  7. What’s with old Ezio? He’s got a grey beard. Nooo, bring back sexeh ACB Ezio!

  8. well this seems like a good way to round off the story for Altiar/Ezio and give us someone new

  9. Good. Ezio is one of the most average, dullest characters in gaming and the series is very mediocre, boring and repetitive.

If only Rockstar owned the Assassin’s Creed IP it would actually be good.
