Whilst there’s not yet video of the incredible Battlefield 3 tank demo that rounded out EA’s conference, we do have two new trailers for the game.
The first shows the game’s multiplayer for the first time on a map called ‘Operation Metro’:
The second is a run through the game’s many features, and shows off a load of previously unseen gameplay footage:
On top of that, it’s been announced that the game will be getting an open multi-platform beta, which will launch in September. Hope you’ve still got your copies of last year’s Medal of Honor lying around.

Sweet, that looks amazing, definately opting for BF3 this year (i opted for MOH last year but it wasnt as good as i thought it was and i was forced to get blops), bye bye COD this year though, there is no way it can beat this :)

Advertise the hell out of this game and watch it dent COD’s sales, Blacks Ops has already damaged COD’s rep a bit so its the perfect time for people to say “Well Blops was boring and lame compared to MW2, lets go for BF2, it looks amazing”

Not really seeing anything in BF3 over & above the 10mins of MW3 gameplay that I saw earlier (not the MS conference reveal, but a separate program) MW3 just looked awesome, great graphics and shown on console, not a top specced PC, BF3 also looks awesome. I’m not sure why there has to be a winner, competition is driving the quality of both series, surely everyone should be happy?

I agree MW3 looked a lot better, its just the same old stuff they throw out each year though. Those two vids for BF3 look unbelievably wicked, even if it is on PC.

The new Frostbite engine looks amazing, I just hope that it applies to every part of the buildings, not leaving out key walls or stairs. Would definately like to see some console footage though to just check the graphics quality. Looks amazing…

absolutely stunned by both videos, the graphics look unbelievable. Especially on the MP vid. I cannot wait for this game. I might even purchase a gaming PC just for this.
