Dungeons & Dragons is set to make its social network debut this summer with the release of Heroes of Neverwinter. Developed by Liquid Entertainment (Thor: God of Thunder) the game employs the 4th edition D&D ruleset, allowing players to develop their very own custom-made character and tackle over 45 dungeons. Heroes of Neverwinter will also include social elements; players can converse in taverns as well as borrow each others’ talents during quests.
One of the most substantial features of HoN will be the intuitive level creator, giving prospecting dungeon masters the tools to build interactive adventures which can be shared among the D&D community.
It sounds very promising, and we will be sure to give you our impressions when the official Facebook app launches this summer.
