Jason West and Vince Zampella, the two leads previously behind Infinity Ward and now Respawn Entertainment, have launched their new site, along with a teaser image for their new game.
[drop]The self confessed “creators of the multi-billion dollar Call of Duty franchise” say their game is multi-platform, based on a new IP and funded via publishers EA. It doesn’t give much away, that’s for sure.The image, left, is the only shot we have of whatever Respawn are working on, and it’s so blurry it’s next to impossible to get anything meaningful from it.
I see Orthanc, but that’s just wishful thinking – you probably see something else entirely.
The site also welcomes the studio’s new community manager, Abbie Heppe, whose introductory blog was previously plagued with sexist comments the likes of which we thought were isolated to those on YouTube, but has since been cleaned up.
It also appears that Respawn have managed to snag a few artists over from God of War 3 developers Sony Santa Monica.

Looks like a factory in a jungle environment to me. Probably a shooter as its by the COD people, GOW artists is promising though.

Looks to me like either a farm or an army base. Since it’s from the people who made CoD I’m guessing it’s the latter.

I’m keen to see what their new game is going to be but not overly enthusiastic at the prospect of another WW type shooter.

The building look like a barrack built on a platform over a green swamp like thing.

-There’s a ruined skyscraper bordering the far left hand side
-The green patches are water
-In the lower right hand corner there are parallel brown lines that look like dock/pier walkways
-The centre-right looks like a red brick factory with a chimney stack and satellite dishes/water towers
-Not sure about the top right corner but it looks close up and a lot like a pointing finger
Clicking on the link to the website gives you a much better view of it
Don’t know how I’ve come to this conclusion but if I were to guess I’d say it’s a post war-rebellion game, maybe a free roam FPS (MMO?)but based around a realistic scenario.

Actually if you’re viewing the larger picture on an LCD screen then tilt the screen so it darkens, it’s a much better view.
