The Steam Summer Sale Is Live

You know the drill by now: twice a year, in the summer and winter, Valve’s Steam digital download service for PC and Mac plays host to an amazing (and wallet-destroying) sale.

This year’s summer sale has just gone live – you can view it over at store.steampowered.com or via the Store tab in the desktop client – and it’s looking pretty good. The deals run every day until July 10th. New this time around is a fun ‘prize booth’ where unlocking special Summer Camp achievements in selected games will give you tickets to be spent on cool swag!

There’s a whole lot of awesome offers making up the sale, so we’ve got the latest timed deals and some highlights from elsewhere in the sale below. There are also offers on whole publisher catalogues, ranging from 25% to 75% off, viewable here.

      Btw this is AfxBGD :D

      • Hey Afx! Yes im going to purchase once i can se what games are on sale atm! But SP looks really good for this game!

    • Would buy it if it wasn’t the Low Violence version (German Steam Store…).
      Same goes for Borderlands.

  2. Oh god quick hide the credit card.

    • They certainly know how to hold a sale!

  3. Brink 29.99/21.24 UK aswell!

  4. Great. More games that I won’t play in exchange for money that I don’t have.

    • Haha, Pretty much same as you :P 1 hour play and its no longer played!

  5. Damn, i bought Back to the future yesterday… Laughed when i heard it happened to other people, but damn that really sucks. At least i don’t have as much money to spend in this sale now XD

  6. Hmm, this could be the reason why Steam decided it wouldn’t let me connect to the Steam servers a few minutes ago. Meh, all working again now.
Why is that I have a backlog of games already AND no money when these deals strike :(

  7. Amnesia: The Dark Descent, 50% off

    • Anyone who wants to involuntarily shit themselves should buy this game.

  8. Fallout 25% http://store.steampowered.com/app/22370/ Will change hopefully :D

  9. I hate the fact that i have no form of income atm because of sales like these. Damm you Steam for making me want to buy some games at a reduced rate. I suppose it is a good thing as i would probably end up giving in and spending a lot of money on there.

  10. Summer Sale Banner up!
