Konami has finally announced that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is indeed coming to the PlayStation Network. As you may remember, rumours about the game started floating around right before E3.
The PSN version won’t just be a simple port. The game will now feature local multiplayer support for up to 4 players in addition to the 6 player online multiplayer mode. Konami is also including the “Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire” map pack and Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades DLC in the package.
You can expect Harmony of Despair to hit the PSN sometime this summer.

Whatever happened to Symphony of the night, been on the US store for years, but never the UK/EU one
Delriach
O_O they never released it in Europe? I had no idea. That’s craziness. It’s been in the US store since forever.

Gutted about it, hopefully this release spurs them on, would love SotN
simplebob
I’m still a proud owner of the original PS1 version including art book. Shame Symphony hasnt made it to EU though – its a cracking game and more people should get to play it
Foxhound
Would love them to do a streets of rage two n give us the SNES version. Without doubt its the best one.

‘Streets Of Rage 2’ & ‘SNES version’ in the same sentence leaves me confused
Dany2Step
>>streets of rage 2
>>SNES
what?
Hur4d
Also, Streets of Rage 2 has been released on the PSN in everywhere but Japan so far.
Sympozium
I think he means….
They should do a Streets of Rage 2 and release Super Castlevania IV on the PSN.
Foxhound as also controversially claimed Super Castlevania IV is the best ;)… although I could say Rondo of blood would be a teeny weeny bit better.. **haha although nothing like Symphony of the Night *muhahaha
Foxhound
THANKS FOR THE EXPLAIN MATE. Thought I would shout over the loud confusion ;-)
Sympozium
haha
hazelam

It sure is.

I have my lovely disc version of SOTN (with artbook and CD) safety stashed away from my 2 year olds sticky/bogey hands.

Oh and SNES Streets Of Rage, quality stuff. Reminds me of the film Last action hero, where there was a poster of Terminator 2 in the background, but it had Sly Stallone starring instead of Arnie.
Broonba
Am i missing something?
Streets of Rage on the SNES?……i don’t think so :#
