Extra Content Coming To The Ico/SOTC Collection

Sony have revealed that the upcoming (finally!) Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3 is to come with some “amazing bonus content”.

Included on the disc will be “a ton of exclusive video content” from Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and the upcoming Last Guardian. There will also be a download voucher packaged in for two dynamic XMB themes, one for each of the games in the collection.

Included with the original release of Shadow of the Colossus was a behind-the-scenes making-of documentary, as well as an expansive gallery of concept artwork. There’s no word yet if these will be up-rezzed for the re-release, or even included. Sony has however confirmed that the version of Ico included in the collection will be the “full” European version, including that edition’s two-player mode.

The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection is scheduled for release on September 30th.

  2. I really hope Sony release all the HD collections so far for the Vita at launch. Hopefully not too difficult, and would certainly bolster the launch line-up.

      • The only time I’ve had sugary water was when I was severely drunk & someone was trying to sober me up. So I’m not much a fan of sugary water, but hey, I get your point :)

    • Same here. I can’t get enough of this. I’ve pre-ordered a title for the first time in my life and the end of September simply can’t come soon enough.

      Along with Limbo, today, it’s been a great year for games with stunning emotional input and beautiful scenery.

      • Indeed Mike, we’re very fortunate indeed to have developers who are willing to take risks, trading in their gaming-101 check list for … well… pure magic.
        I rarely pre-order but this and TLG are exceptional exceptions… 71 days and counting… ;)

      • I pre ordered this collection so long ago, I actually forgot about it. By the time it is released I will find it on my door step and be surprised again.
