We’ve played Forza 4, it’s really nice, but what wasn’t on offer was the Autovista mode, which is the game’s super high def vehicle browser.
It’s absolutely beautiful, presented with some lovely graphics whilst showing off some insane car modeling. And, as you’ll see in the video below, voiceover work from Jeremy Clarkson.
If the single player’s less of a grind and they keep the ridiculously fun multiplayer, this could well be the definitive racing game this generation.

Do keep in mind that the car models won’t look this good when racing. But even if they “only” look as good as in F3, it’s certainly better than GT5’s “standard cars”. Polyphony has got their work cut out for them.

I think it’s a win win. Forza 4 will be the definitive racing game and GT5 will be the definitive driving game. I’ll enjoy both.
