We’ve played Forza 4, it’s really nice, but what wasn’t on offer was the Autovista mode, which is the game’s super high def vehicle browser.
It’s absolutely beautiful, presented with some lovely graphics whilst showing off some insane car modeling. And, as you’ll see in the video below, voiceover work from Jeremy Clarkson.
If the single player’s less of a grind and they keep the ridiculously fun multiplayer, this could well be the definitive racing game this generation.

It’s basically a mode where you can look at the cars in your garage (I think). Only theyve made it super slick.

Having two different voices is a bit jarring, especially when they quote different stats about the same car. Clarkson said the GT could do 210 while the other voice (is that Michael Gambon?) said 205

It also makes for fantastic marketing before the title comes out. Automotive porn for the racing enthusiast. Forza is doing a great job here.

You got the one who looks like a miserable posh dog and the marmoset hell-bent on appearing 20 years younger than he is by wearing a waistcoat and trainers and probably leering at his daughters teenage friends whilst rubbing his thighs….

Things is I do liek Clarkson when he’s talking about cars, he obviously has a passion for them. It’s just a shame he think’s he’s a comedian as well, it’s a bit like watching a drunk uncle at a wedding.
