Atlus has announced an awesome pre-order bonus for The King of Fighters XIII. Normally Atlus would throw in a soundtrack from the game. This time, they’re going all out by including a 4-disc epic that spans the entire series. It will only be available at select retailers, such as GameStop and Amazon.
Atlus also released some details about the gameplay modes. Online will feature the basic ranked matches, player matches, and friend matches. Mission mode will include time attack, survival, and combo trials for each character. A tutorial mode is also being introduced to help players learn the mechanics of the game. Aside from that, there’s arcade mode, versus, practice mode, gallery, and a section dedicated to replays.
The King of Fighters XIII is due to launch this October for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America. Rising Star Games recently announced that they would be publishing the game in Europe. It’s expected to launch sometime in the winter.
Atlus will be giving fans a first hand look at the console version of KOFXIII this weekend during EVO 2011.
