Black Ops ‘Rezurrection’ Content Announced

We’re going to the Moon. Well, I’m not; I don’t play Call of Duty: Black Ops. For those who do though, you’ll be able to visit the Moon and get your outer-space Zombie shooting fix. Yes, this is happening.

Rezurrection, the fourth batch of downloadable content for Black Ops is a Zombie-fest and the climax to the saga (so presumably the final DLC). It features the four Zombie levels from World at War, remastered for Black Ops and the brand new “Moon” level which features undead astronauts and fluctuating gravity.

The level also features brand new weapons, perks and equipment, including the deadly Wave Gun and the Quantum Mechanic Device. These names alone sound awesome and it looks to be the most wacky Zombie level yet – it could be a lot of fun too. I mean Zombies… on the moon!

You’ll also get a Moon inspired theme and an enhanced Zombies soundtrack included, for the price of 1200 Microsoft Points. Oh, and those poor people who have already got the remastered levels with their shiny Hardened or Prestige Editions of Black Ops? Fear not; you won’t have to pay a thing for the additional content featured in the Rezurrection pack.

Rezurrection arrives, worldwide, on Xbox Live in three weeks – that’s the 23rd of August to you Zombies. Have a look at the screenshots below for a taste of what’s to come…

  1. I get free stuff? Because I have the Hardened Edition? By Activision? Pinch me I must be dreaming

  2. There must be a Reznov connection to have called it Rez-urrection, right?
    Right?

  3. This is a definite buy for me, love CoD Zombies.

  4. Oh cool, the first letters of each DLC spell out the word FEAR. you’ll all sleep better knowing that!
Im not buying this or Escallation till this “No Second Chance No Ghost Playlist” happens that David Vonderhaar has hinted at on Twitter recently.

    • Lol all the crybabies who complain about second chance crack me up.

Pretty much all the perks and killstreaks unbalance the game in some way or another, and even some of the guns themselves do like the AK74u. That’s just CoD for you :)

      • Anybody that uses that perk admits to wearing women’s panties. No other perk in the game causes as much annoyance than SC. Ghost comes close.. But like you say, that (sadly) is COD for you. They put all these “crutch” perks in to cater to the newcomers.

      • SC takes it too a whole new level off annoying. The fact you can get killed easily by a SC user and then he can be revived because he got outplayed….WTF.

    • uav jammer/ghost has been around since mw1, but yeh simple ans, barebones like in mw2.

  5. Great news for bops fans, unfortunately I traded many moons ago(kept w@w.) I hope mw3 gets the same amount dlc support.

  6. A map pack to buy maps…That we already had to buy a map pack’s for in previous games..Nah.

    • Agreed. The WAW zombie maps should have been free with this Map Pack.

  7. this might be the first cod map pack that i buy. looks a little better then the others.

  8. Meeeh…not for me. I’m not going to bash them for releasing more content. Profit margin is the name of the game. I didn’t buy a single DLC for BO, so I won’t be tempted by zombies.

Can’t wait for BF3 though. I would buy the crap out of any DLC for that.

  9. The Only reason i got the map packs was for the zombies, i am a massive zombie fanatic and i don’t care what the price is, if it has zombies i will buy.

  10. Wow a 4th dlc and its not even new. So glad i traded it in bout a month after i got it an so got most of my money back. So if you pay full price for the game around £40 you’ll then have to spend that again to get the rest of your game.
Didn’t they announce at least 2 dlc packs before the game was even released. Is it just me who thinks that really takes the piss.

    • nope, your not the only one. shame people still pay that much for them. i wouldn’t mind if they weren’t so overpriced and lite on content.

      • I like the sound of Skyrims’ approach, less dlc, but more substantial in its offerings.
