Urban Champion Hits 3DS This Week

Nintendo have announced that this week’s 3DS eShop update will feature the third 3DS Classics re-release, after ExciteBike and Xevious.

Urban Champion was a 1984 NES release that was based on the earlier Punch Out!! title. It’s pretty basic, but one fondly remembered by some Nintendo fans of the era.

Us? We’d quite like some new games, please Nintendo – Let’s Golf 3D is still the only brand new 3DS title on the eShop.

Other games releases this Thursday are My Asian Farm on DSiWare, Chillingo’s Moto eXtreme (DSiWare) and a Wii version of Flight Control.

  1. I bought Let’s Golf 3D. It’s the only thing I’ve been tempted with.
These classics are cool to have as an option but I think they’re over priced and shouldn’t be what the eShop relies on. New games, tailored for the platform would show it off at its best. That seems quite important as Nintendo really push for more sales of the hardware.

    • What are the prices of these?

  2. whoh more classics and no new games…
