Gamescom’s flood of new video trailers and screenshots is in full effect. Here is a veritable torrent of Gears of War screenshots, some of which I think I’ve seen before, to whet your appetite for the games upcoming release. There are a few from the Horde mode and loads of the campaign.
Gears of War 3 is out on September 20th.

That was cleverly done.. Now anyone who criticises the game will automatically be branded a fanboy. ;)
And yes, I’m going to slightly criticise by suggesting the screenshots look a little ‘touched up’ to me. There’s not a single pixel out of place, every shadow, hair and smoke effect is perfect.
I’m sure the final game will look fantastic, but I’m not convinced that the marketing department hasn’t given these shots a little makeover.
