Literally cool. Chilling, even. The latest Batman: Arkham City screenshots show off the recently announced Mr. Freeze in action, with his icy stare and cold heart.

Arkham City looks to be absolutely packed with villains, so you’ll have to stay frosty when the game releases on October 21st. Who knows, perhaps it’ll keep you happy until Winter comes.

  1. There is no doubt Arkham City looks awesome (in fact its probably my most anticipated game this year) but I hate that Rocksteady keep announcing details about it!
    That may sound odd but the thing I loved about the first Arkham game was that I knew almost nothing about it, particularly in terms of what villians were in it. Encountering the Scarecrow section for the first time, easily one of my favourite moments in gaming, and I doubt it would have had the same effect if I had knew he was in the game somewhere.
    IGN are definately the worst for it, but I do find my Arkham City enjoyment dropping everytime I go to a gaming website at the moment :(

    • You just have to remember that all this coverage will be 10% of the actual game, there will be plenty of surprises in store for us! Rocksteady know what they are doing!

      • Hopefully you’re right. They just seem to be showing A LOT of content at the moment. Personally I would have kept the Catwoman sections a secret for starters. Would have been a great suprise :)

  5. Just recently finished Arkham Asylum. I can’t wait for this one. They have done such a fantastic job with the villain design and Mr. Freeze is no exception. The trickle of screenshots and trailers is killing me.

  6. Looks like they’re going to be adding lots of different styles of gameplay. Lets hope they stay true to what everyone loved about the first one.
