Despite being a fictional character, Frank has spoken about the camera feature.

I loved the concept of being a photographer in Dead Rising. Unfortunately, I hated the way it controlled and sent the game back to LoveFilm within an hour of putting it on.
Dead Rising 2 addressed some of that so perhaps I’ll give this a go…

Absolutely loathed the original DR2, due to the time constraints, maps and mission structure (or lack thereof). Any word on whether these kinks will be ironed out for FFF?

Not so much kinks, but the way the game works you mean??
The time constraints were there because you only had a set time before the Army arrived, the map was pretty decent apart from not being able to set your own waypoints & i didn’t see any issue with the mission structure at all.
So no, i don’t think those ‘kinks’ will be ironed out in any way. You raise a good point about waypoints on the map though (or was that me?) :)
