Malicious Coming To PS Vita

It looks like you can add Malicious to Vita’s impressive lineup of games. According to Andriasang, Malicious will be a download only title just like the PS3 version. Details are pretty much nonexistent at the moment so it’s unknown if this is an updated port or a new game entirely.

Malicious was released last year in October exclusively for the PlayStation Network in Japan for 800 yen. I actually bought the game when it first came out because it looked so interesting. Basically, it’s a game where you kill a bunch of enemies. Imagine a game that’s not quite as mindless as Dynasty Warriors with an amazing art style.

Once you choose a level you’re thrown straight into a battle against a never ending supply of minions and their boss. There is no level progression or anything that like. Each time you finish a battle you’ll learn a new technique. Bosses are weak against certain types of weapons, so it’s similar to Mega Man in terms of strategy.

I uploaded a video awhile back with some gameplay from Malicious. It’s worth checking out.
