If you haven’t been keeping up with PlayStation Home you might want to check it out right now. The Central Plaza has transformed into a beautiful resort inhabited by bloodthirsty zombies. I messed around with the Dead Island mini game for a bit and kicked a zombie’s head off with my Chun-Li homie. She even chopped off a few arms with a machete. It really makes me wonder why Chun-Li isn’t a playable character in Resident Evil…
PlayStation Home isn’t the only place with zombie fever. Deep Silver has released a bunch of Dead Island related items for your Xbox 360 avatar, which includes clothing based on the four main characters and a paddle for beating up the undead.
Dead Island is set to release on September 6th in North America for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. If you pre-order from Amazon you’ll get nifty digital art book. It has a map of the Royal Palm Resort that shows you the locations of all the weapon mod blueprints in that area. Europeans get the game on September 9th along with the Bloodbath Arena DLC for pre-ordering.

Now why couldn’t Capcom make a real Street Figher Vs Zombies (think Devil May Cry with Ryu, Ken & Chun Li as the heroes)?

I get the idea & the premise could work, but i think a lot of people would look on it as a blatant cash in & wouldn’t bother with it (unless it hit the 90’s in reviews of course).
Plus you wouldn’t want Ryu & Ken as they are just too similar. You would basically be playing the same character with a different skin.
