Elevator Action Deluxe Reveal Trailer

Square Enix has uploaded the reveal trailer for Elevator Action Deluxe, which will be out on the PSN on August 31st. The original game featured a spy, codenamed ‘Otto’, who must collect secret documents from a building using a complex sequence of elevators. This looks to be the same, but in HD.

The game will be priced at £7.99/$9.99.

  1. Looks mental. Properly, insanely mental.
Kind of a Bomberman vibe to the multiplayer-looking bits too.

    • You’re right on both counts, and that’s why it’s probably worth a punt!

  2. The HD graphical style reminds me of the original Spy Vs Spy from waaaaaay back.

  3. Nice to see you get the orignal thrown in too! Not sure I’ll have a punt on it as it wasn’t one of my favs from the 80’s!

  4. Classic gameplay, could be great fun as a party game. Not sure about the graphical style, though – the main guy looks like Guybrush Threepwood with that quiff. I love Guybrush, but can’t picture him with a gun.

    • I was thinking the same! I was waiting for Elaine to pop out as a secret character lol. Still looking forward to it!

  5. Watched the trailer and thought “wow… that’s a bit naff” but maybe it needs playing, not watching. I think I remember better graphics in Rolling Thunder (in the arcade when I was a young lad).

  6. I don’t get what it happening at all D:
