A multiplayer reveal trailer of Modern Warfare 3 has been released, showing guns, knives, broken glass and some dog tags (I think!).

    I dare say with cod xp kicking off today, this is the first of many trailers. Get these puppies on psn/live iw.

  2. I’m excited for definite, looks brilliant imo, however, if it has the stuuuuupid connection problems of BOPS then this will indeed be my last COD

    • BlOps on PS3 was the shoddiest port of a 360 game i’ve ever seen. Alot of problems were down to the poor hit detection compared to the 360s. Robert Bowling has said both versions will be near identical, and i believe him as MW2 and its hit detection on PS3 were sublime.

      But yes, connections on BlOps were poor, couldn’t join mates and vice versa. MW3 won’t have these problems i hope (last few MW’s were fine though so i’m positive).

    • Infinity Ward games are identical on both systems, I have MW2 for 360 and PS3 and they’re exactly the same but Blops however is pathetic on the PS3 compared to the 360 version.

      Screen tearing, poorer graphics, even worse hit detection etc I sold the PS3 version and kept the 360 version, still the 360 version isn’t as good as MW2 coding either.

  4. Im definatly in the ‘I CANT FUCKING WAIT!!’ camp. This is gonna be awesome. Im not getting involved in these little fanboy wars. I’ll play the game and NO doubt enjoy it with the millions of others that’ll enjoy it too!

    • Same, i’ve learnt my lesson. Instead i have a chuckle when it gets heated.

      • I should do this. However I find it hard when such stupid statements are made. It is cool to hate CoD for some reason.

    • Please link me to a viable source where he said they was getting rid of quickscoping. I want it out, don’t get me wrong, but people have leagues set up for quickscoping, and unfortunately it’s now considered an integral part of CoD. The cries of 3 million butthurt quickscopers would be too much for robert bowling.

    • Guess you guys havn’t tried hcore. No crosshair, which naturally kills off qs. I mean how can you not qs with a dirty big crosshair on your screen.

      • I like to play with the HUD intact, i’m not a fan of hardcore. I might try and get into it but tbh quickscopers don’t tuin the game for me, they just temporarily annoy me. They are not a HUGE problem.

    • He said himself that quickscoping would be back in it’s proper, un-bullshitty-Treyarch version.

  8. If it’s got a 4 player off-line split-screen mode with bots i might get it. It just looks the same as all the other online FPS really. I did like MW1 + 2(+ i didn’t even bother playing the online bit of MW2. What is the point of killing people you can’t see in the same room i say) LoL

  9. They’ve done it again. Leading up to another COD instalment I say I’m not bothered, then they release another MP trailer and I’m back on board. The directors they use for these trailers need a pay rise, they’ve sold me.

  10. Meh…Wheres the Jets? Tanks? Destruction? DX11? 64 Player Battles? Huge Maps? Realism? Oh yeah, they’re all in Battlefield 3, but hey kids at least you get a poppy up mine thing eh eh eh, yeah you’ll love that, and now parents will snap it up and feed their little ones with it to keep them quiet over the next year!! Thank god you n00bs can’t afford PC’s…

      • True. And seeing as they are in the same genre, most people will probably like both – like me, so I have preordered both! :)

    • I could afford a super gaming PC but I spent my money on a MacBook Pro and a Panasonic Plasma 3DTV, best decision I made.

      If it was upto me, I would ban all under 18’s on COD, they do annoy me.
