inFAMOUS 2 Update 3 Now Live

The inFAMOUS 2 UGC love just keeps on coming, with Update 3 now live. First up are bosses; The Devourer and Titan. These are now placeable characters in UGC and can be made to be friends, fight each other, or protect Cole.

Next up is Mission Linking:

“Shortly after the launch of inFAMOUS 2 we started to see UGC mission series, one great example is The Conduit Community Saga by jedicam10, which continues the first mission’s story over a series of missions. Playing these missions in order was a little on the challenging side and we wanted to make it easier for the mission creators and the fans playing these missions, and Mission Linking does that!

You can now select another mission as a follow-up mission. Just update the properties on the Mission Start in the editor and publish all  the missions associated. Once they’re all on the server you’ll have a link series of missions. When a player completes the mission they will be given the option to continue directly to the next linked mission.”

There will now also be a Mission Review system, which allows you to submit a short review for any UGC mission you play.

  1. I got my Platinum for this and traded it in. I didn’t see much replayability in the game as the UGC just didn’t do it for me. Seemed somewhat amateurish compared to the stuff on LBP 2.

  2. Looks like a great update, I found it really difficult to make a really good level in infamous 2 but I really enjoyed playing everyone else’s levels. I think I’ll go back and play some more of the UGC missions to finish of getting the platinum.

  3. Really need to get back into this game.

    • Do it. Both great ending, with epic and sad bits. Awesome game.

  4. Must… finish… inFamous…
Then I can feel free to buy this.

    • I hated it, didn’t even look into this, lol.. Shame – i thought there were some really good elements.

  5. inFamous 2 was a great game, but maybe co-op would have helped

  6. Got my platinum for Infamous 1 and this is on my Lovefilm list, may have to move it higher up the priority list.
