LucasArts Is Working On An “Aerial Combat Title”

According to a listing on Lucasfilm Recruiting’s website, LucasArts is looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer.

That in itself is fairly standard. However, job listings give us clues into what a company is doing, and LucasArts wants to hire someone to work on an Aerial Combat Title. Now, LucasArts has experience in this genre, namely the X Wing and Tie Fighter series.

The job listing asks for someone who has “experience with flight sims, aerial shooters, and especially space-based shooters.”

There have been some rumours flying about of an X Wing remake and this may be the first indication that LucasArts is working on it.

I hope it is SW:BF3 as that looked good. Plus i really want to blow up a TSAer’s ship. If it is a clone wars game, i won’t be happy.
