PSN Is Offline – “Unscheduled Maintenance”

Can’t sign into the PSN?  Looks like it’s down for most, currently labeled as ‘unscheduled maintenance’.

The PlayStationEU account has just tweeted the following:

We’re aware that PSN is currently unavailable and working with the technicians to find out when it will be restored. Apologies.

Community mod RabidWalker backs this up:

Currently there is an unscheduled maintenance on the PSN, which is affecting the PSN and forum Sign In, I will update when I have more info.

No further information has been given, as soon as we hear anything further we will let you know.

  1. Sad panda :-(

    • You’re right, I am.

Just hoping to get some Burnout in this evening while my 360 cools down, Gears 3 is just as awesome as the hype, toss up between it and Portal 2 for GOTY for me.

  2. Back to Gears of war 3 then.

  3. I’m glad to see that Burnout Crash was download in full while I was away, must have just got finished in time.

  4. oh noes!!

will have to wait for resi evil then by the looks of things,

guess I’ll have to crack on with dead island or deus ex instead.

  5. Must have hit a very short open window as I bought Resi 4 at half 5 and it’s now downloading. Timing win!

    • You lucky sod lol

what’s the size of the file mate :o)

  6. OH COME ON HACKERS! ! ! You finally got a Xbox 360 Exclusive game to play on your Xbox 360 this week so leave PSN alone. . .LoL

  7. FFS.

I come onto the PS3 to check out the Store update, and this happens. Aaarghh.

  8. i think it’s ironic that the new t and cs come out with the clause of not being able to sue… and then the PSN goes down. :o)

  9. Xbox Live is down too.

    • Seriously?

      • It has been down all day. Just seen it’s back up though

    • Obviously didn’t effect everyone. My brother has a “gears of war arse groove” in his chair from not moving since him and his mates signed onto the Gears servers at about 10am this morning lol

      • Adds a whole new meaning to “getting your groove on.”
(er, a new meaning to an old saying.)
