It has been announced that Microsoft Studios has acquired Developer ‘Twisted Pixel’ (Splosion Man, The Gunstringer). Phil Spencer, corporate vice president, Microsoft Studios had the following to say:

Whoa they bought a studio,.. I really do hope Microsoft up the new IP a bit… I don’t know, I’ve always believed new and exciting IPs would be great for Microsoft by now…

I hope MS uses TP to their full potentai and not stick them on the Kinect generic dance/pet/sport games as imo they need to get more new IPs for the xbox as it’s been pretty poor this year excsluive wise imo. But if TP uses Kinect to bring us some fantastic games then it will be worth it. :)

I have heard of this company, just not played the games. I think I am too hooked on Ubisoft games even though there community service is terrible
