Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword Can Last 70+ Hours

Official Nintendo Magazine, which carries the world’s first Skyward Sword review has said that Zelda Skyward Sword offers over 70 hours of gameplay.

Skyward Sword’s main story lasts around 35 hours, while the side quests and exploring push the gameplay time to over 70 hours. The review in ONM states:

“There are about 35 hours to be spent on Skyward Sword’s main quest along, and at least double that if you plan on dipping into the game’s plentiful side-quests, collecting all of the insects, upgrading all of the items, discovering the locations of the Goddess Cubes and exploring the world.”

ONM rewarded Skyward Sword a score of 98%. You can read Blair’s own hands on experience of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword here.

Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword will release November 18 2011 on Wii.

  1. Need a non Nintendo affiliated review before getting excited.
I really want this to be great, maybe a little too much…

  2. I hope that review is true, and that this is a good game.
I’d love to know how many hours I’ve poured into Wind Waker over the years, must be well into the hundreds.

  3. The first review score for a game is ALWAYS >90%, unless somebody’s after publishing too early.

  4. To be fair, it could have been a cowpat in a box and ONM would have given it a 90%+ score if it had Zelda written on it… ;)
I’ll wait for a TSA review before getting too excited.

  5. well i know what i’m getting my mum for christmas for her Wii. . . now to book time off college and work

  6. Well that would make me buy a Wii again… so much too catch up on though.. N64 games.. Bit-trip… Donkey Kong etc etc

  7. ONM’s one of those publications where the score for average games is 70%+, although for them 98% could be one of, if not the, highest review scores from them.

    • It’s their highest ever actually, with SMG2 second with 97.

  8. wouldnt trust ONM with a “fair” review of a 1st party game, its the reason i stopped buying the “official” magazines.

  9. Just to offset this cynicism with some fanboyism, eeeee I am so excited about this game!
