Cthulhu Magicka Expansion Announced

Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Studios have announced another expansion for their popular PC title, dubbed Magicka: The Stars are Left. Inspired by Cthulhu mythos, the add-on will provide players with a brand new campaign adventure which also includes new robes, enemies, bosses, achievements, items, and even the odd poke at Minecraft.

Players who don’t have the expansion will still be able to explore its contents, Arrowhead Studios revealing that only game hosts need to have downloaded the expansion. The Stars are Left is expected to launch this Winter with Paradox yet to announce a price.

  2. 4 player co-op magicka is one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in a good long time. Can be buggy at times, but hey that just about sums up PC gaming in general.

    Still, If you have a few steam friends and a couple of quid going spare I highly recomend it.

    And remember, the safe word is “Bananas”

  3. Great news and agree about the co-op play. Pity the co-op is a ball-ache even to get into sometimes (something I’m finding more and more often with PC gaming as of recent).

    Still, count me in.

    Wow. That is awesome. This is the kind of customer service that will make me take a look at what kind of game this is.

    When the great old ones arrive these guys will be given the opportunity to choose if they want to die first or last.
