New Assassin’s Creed for 2012

During the latest Ubisoft investors call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot announced a new Assassin’s Creed game for 2012.

“There will be another great full-fledged Assassin’s Creed title next year,” he said, without further details. “It will be another major release and we will be communicating more about it in the coming months.”

In other news pre-orders for Revelations are “significantly higher” than those for Brotherhood.

  1. As long as they keep putting out great games, I’m fine with an Assassin’s Creed every year.

  2. AC3 probably to wrap up the trilogy with Desmond. Looking forward to it!

  3. fantastic! Can’t wait lol ac is one of my favorite franchises off all time!

  4. Given that I don’t play the multiplayer part of this game I’m happy to see another annual release. I usually get Assassin’s Creed in the first week, hammer it for two weeks then wait for the next. I was itching for a new release last month so if I had to wait two years I’d be climbing the walls.
Fantastic story told through a proper narrative. I just hope with the end of the Borgia story line the next historical story will be as compelling.

  5. Gone off the series. loved it so much until the “extra” games started having huge plot twists in them forcing you to buy them

  6. Hopefully this will be last one for a couple of years. And maybe a new launch title for next gen consoles.

  7. It would be good to see another Prince Of Persia game from Ubi, but I’m all for the creed!
