Iron Brigade Finally Gets European Release Date

Iron Brigade, the game formerly known as Trenched, will finally be seeing the light of day in European territories soon.

Double Fine’s latest will be arriving on XBLA on 30th November, the developer has announced. The game’s release will finally bring to an end the long running saga that delayed the game’s release by almost six months in Europe.

The title had been blocked from releasing as Trenched due to a trademark filed by Portuguese board game designer Rui Alípio Monteiro in 2007 for his game, ‘Trench’, but a cheeky namechange ensured an EU release.

The delay won’t have been for naught, however, because Project Lead Brad Muir has promised long-suffering European audiences some new additional content for the game:

“We added a brand new, incredibly challenging infinite Survival Mode with ten new pieces of high-powered loot, along with a new leaderboard to track players on this Survival Mission.”

  1. No release on PSN? That would suck. I liked their other games. Different from the norm.
