Although Trine 2 is being released as a downloadable title on PC, 360 and PS3, that hasn’t stopped developers Frozenbyte from teaming up with publisher Focus Home Interactive to release a European exclusive collector’s edition of the game.
The physical, PC only collector’s edition will come with the game’s soundtrack, an artbook with commentary from the development team and access to a downloadable version of the first Trine. Best of all, this selection of goodies will only set you back a mere £14.99.
Frozenbyte are also discussing the possibility of releasing a digital version of the artbook for a Steam collector’s edition.
A collector’s edition is certainly a nice addition, but it sounds like console gamers might be getting a bit gimped on this one…

To be fair, it seems that Focus Home Entertainment are just on publishing duties for the CE physical copy.
I would imagine the finished product will still be every bit as good as the first one (& hopefully better!).

Shame, the collectors edition looked really good, and the price was insane.
