‘Spec Ops: The Line’ Gets A New Trailer

‘Spec Ops: The Line’ first surfaced in 2009 during the VGA’s with a trailer and a touch of gameplay footage, but as of late it’s pretty much went dark. Yesterday, it came back in to the light with the release of a new trailer titled ‘The Journey’. While the trailer doesn’t really show anything new or particularly exciting, it at least offers some intensity, as well as confirmation that the game does still exist.

Have a look and let us know what you think.

  1. IGN said that while the gameplay done nothing new or interesting, the settting and story did so I am definitely keeping my eye on it

  2. This is the firt time I hear from this game but the trailer looks really good. The setting comes across as a hybrid between Rage and Homefront with a magical Lord of the RIngs-like eye thingy…
*checks older articles* So it’s set in Dubai? Interesting. I’ll keep my eyes open for this one.

  3. All i got was, GENERIC GAME CHARACTER.

    • Thank you. One of the worst trailers I have seen in a while. I could understand if this was the teaser from 2009. But with two years behind them, I now know less about this game than before. Fail in my opinion and that sucks because I usually like 2K products. They have their work cut out for them with this one.

  4. Mr.Generic VS Sauron. Go Team Sauron!

  5. So it’s in dubai, and there’s giant screens everywhere… right. Looks interesting though

  6. Yeah i heard that the story is inspired by Joseph Conrads Heart of Darkness which is pretty cool, also Nolan North is the voice behind the main character which is bonus, allthough any time i hear Nolan North’s voice on any other character i cant seem to detach him from Nathan Drake!
