Activision has announced a nine month schedule for Modern Warfare 3Â DLC. Starting on January 24th, and ending in September, the content will be made available first to Premium Elite members on Xbox LIVE “followed by additional platforms at a later time.”
We are promised ” brand new multiplayer maps, Special Ops Missions, new game modes and more.”
Modern Warfare 3 owners who aren’t signed up to Premium Elite will still be able to buy the DLC “a la carte” via Modern Warfare 3 Content Collections which will be available in March.

I might buy them, but they’re way over priced. I seriously think if they quartered the price, they’d get 4 times the people buying it, so make the same profits. Or thereabouts anyway.

Indeed. £11.99 (or whatever it is) isn’t good value when I’ve bought Dead Nation, Resident Evil 4 HD, Might & Magic all for less than that, and they have hours of value themselves, not just another map for an existing game.

I just hope Spec Ops and Sinly Player extensions are seperate from multiplayer maps. I have no interested in playing COD online unless its spec ops with one friend. I lost interest in being shouted at by racist 12 yr olds a long time ago.

Looking forward to the new maps. The game needs some large maps, the current maps are small and cramped! Still enjoying MW3 though, however I have dipped back into BF3 the past 2 days and am thoroughly enjoying that too. First time i’ve played the new DLC and its great.

That’s a bit of a slap to PS3 elite members. Surely, they can release it for all members regardless of platform at the same time instead of doing this.

What’s the effing point of having a premium plaice service on PS3 if actis precious xbox players still get everything first?! I’m glad I hate haddock coz if I was a battered sausage player (on PS3) I’d be so pissed off at this.
