PSN Store Update: 25/01/12

Waiting for Duke Nukem Forever to hit the PSN Store, were you?  Well, you’re in luck – it’s there, and it’s there at a bargain price of fifteen quid.  Hey, it’s not a terrible price – the game’s distinctly average but at least it’s priced accordingly.

Also available is Creat’s Mecha Wars, which is basically a clone of Nintendo’s Advance Wars, a couple of demos (please do try The Darkness II) and some nice sale stuff for Final Fantasy fans.  Yes, you.

  1. Don’t think that Space Marine Dreadnought DLC is priced correctly. New game mode plus new maps for £1.49? Sure it was more than that in the Developer’s Blog.

    • Don’t complain man – Just reap the fruits of a (possible) mistake!! :)

      • I stand corrected, it is indeed £1.49. Bargain!!!

      • I’m happy either way! :D

      • £1.49 is indeed a bargain.

Almost enough of a bargain to buy the game just for the cheap DLC (but not quite!)!! XD

  2. Nothing for me again.

  3. Trine 2?
Probably disappear down the same hole AuditoriumHD did last year or Castlevania Symphony Of The Night did in 2007

    le sigh

    • So true. It’s fast becoming a weekly ritual for me; EU PSN content announced > I check for Trine 2’s inevitable release > I get disappointed.

    • I really don’t see what the issue is with Trine tbh – It’s been successfully released in other regions (for about a month now i think?) & i therefore have no idea what the hell could be holding it up in SCEE.

I think they just like to be mean.

  4. Not a jot for me this week. Downloaded Okabu and Sam & Max Time and Space yesterday so that should keep me busy.

  5. May give the Darkness demo a go but otherwise nothing for me.

  6. Just the demos for me this week.

  7. Really tempted by the Final Fantasy titles. Puddle looks interesting, and Mecho Wars looks like my kind of game, but as its a Minis title I’m less interested.

  8. It’s going to be hard to stop me buying all the final fantasy’s this week… I need them on PSP (despite having them on disc… I’m a sucker for FF)

  9. Still no acknowledgement of the missing Renegade Ops codes, has anyone recieved theirs yet?

    • That’s shocking mate – I presume you have details of someone that you are pestering on a daily basis?

If you were promised something then you really should have that thing. If that’s not possible, you should be informed of why & when a resolution should be coming your way.

That’s pretty standard customer service as far as i can see!

      • Yeah it is fairly annoying! More the silence than anything, if they just said they are looking into it I’d be happy, but they haven’t even acknowledged it. I don’t really know who else to contact though, I’ve contacted the developers, the customer help and posted on the blog. I don’t really want to waste my money by ringing daily. Very frustrating!

      • Seems that you are going down all the right avenues, but surely someone here could probably help you out with a twitter address (are they called twitter ‘addresses’? I have no idea!) for someone that is in a position to give you some sort of update, even if it is only “it’s being looked into” (I am guessing this has fallen down Sony side, it usually does).

You can then pester that person daily until ether you get a decent response, or their eyes start to bleed through tweet abuse.

  10. FF sale. Bye-bye remaining money.

I will be getting both Dissidia’s, that Progus thing and probably a few of the PS1 classics I still haven’t got.
