  1. No Might & Magic on PS3 for me then :(

    • Does it have an offline mode, or is online only?

      • Both – it has a 40 campaign and infinite (pretty much) online mode. The top guys on the leaderboards are like level 104+. You can also play 1 vs 1 offline, and you can play 2 vs 2 online or 2 vs CPU. IGN gave it 9/10 and I can’t recommend it enough – a very simple concept, but can be hard to master.

It’s slow starting but Clash of Heroes is an amazing game. My second best purchase of last year, and it’s only a PSN game.

      • Fair enough – I take it that you have completed the offline stuff already then?

Unless it needs an online connection to work of course, which would be shatpang.

      • Yup, completed offline (100% trophies I might add), but I usually try and get a couple of online games in each week. Basically, on your route to level 30 (multiplayer) you unlock an artifact every 5 levels, which you can use in-game online and offline! Artifacts are perks such as Revive once after death with 5HP, or Enemy Walls have 50% of their usual Strength. Have you played the demo/trial?

      • Nah, it’s not really my sort of thing if i am honest, but it wasn’t specifically mentioned in the lists above, meaning it would only be the the online that would be affected – Was just interested if it even had an offline mode to keep you entertained if necessary.

Not much appeal after completing it, apart from the online I guess?

      • The offline CPU AI is not bad, but I tend to move on after I’ve done everything since I have quite a few incomplete games. I wouldn’t normally be interested in this type of game (even the title is a bit pony), but it really is excellent.
I think I’ll either play yesterdays Dead Island DLC or repair my broken 60gb fatty :(

  2. Who’s Ton Clancy? :P

  3. so legitimate buyers will be without their games, through no fault of their own, and pirates will be playing away merrily.

yeah, ubisoft’s drm sure is effective. o_O

  4. Hateful company….just hateful, its genuinely astonishing that the pirates are the ones with the better versions and the most astonishing aspect of everything? people still buy their products. Unbelievable.
