Rockstar have very nice sofas.
I know this as I’ve been sat in one all afternoon playing Max Payne 3.
Before I got my paws on the game I was shown a new trailer, namely this one, and it’s rather fab. It’s even better on a 60″ TV with surround sound – and a nice sofa.
You can find out what I thought of the game on March 1st at precisely 5pm in the evening.

Looks fantastic. having never played a max payne game….. come to think of it, I’ve never really batted an eyelid towards a max payne game. I may pick this up

It looks like a great game, but it still saddens me a little that it doesn’t seem to have that noir feel from the previous Max Payne games…unless he only goes out in San Paulo at night…when it’s raining…and the city watches him with its sharp neon eyes.

i don’t think it has to be dark and gloomy to be Noir. Look at the Film China town. Thats an amazing old detective story but the back drops sunny San Fransico

Fair point, although I think Chinatown was an exception as opposed to the rule. Noirs usually have low-key lighting, contrasts between shadows, as well as a femme-fatale and cynical hero. If Max in MP3 still has that cynicism then it may work.
