2K has announced that Spec Ops: The Line will be hitting stores on June 26th in North America, and June 29th in the EU. This third person shooter sees you take on the role of Captain Martin Walker and explore the “dark realities of war”.
Tuffcub went hands-on with the game a while back, with a very positive final statement:
“The shooter genre is very crowded, and the butch marine vs generic Arabian nations’ is even more so. However, with The Heart of Darkness seeping through the plot, 2K may have created something quite special here.”

Wish someone would make a WWII FPS again. A few years ago it’s all you could get! Now it’s all Afghanistan/Iraq bollocks. As if Al Queda are anywhere near as scary as the Nazis!

Thats a nice window. Cant think of anything big coming out around then so this might make my monthly purchase list. Good idea to come out earlier in the year instead of competing with the massive games of Sept-November that will over shadowing it.
