New Assassin’s Creed III Info

Game Informer have posted new information regarding Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III.

The game will feature seasonal cycles which will impact the game play and the hero, Connor, will also also make a transition as we follow him through various stages of his life, starting as a boy in his Mohawk village.

The cities of New York and Boston will appear and characters include George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Charles Lee. Historical events include the Boston Tea Party and the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Around a third of the game’s missions will occur out in the Frontier, a huge wilderness setting with plenty of tree climbing opportunities. When the seasons change, Connor will find that bodies of water freeze solid, offering new paths of exploration.

We are off to poke Assassin’s Creed with a big pointy stick next week and see the game in action, so stay tuned.

  1. So with all the other places they could have gone. Victorian England, feudal Japan, pretty much anywhere in Europe in the past 500 years … they go to America. Where almost every fucking game is set. Personally I’m sick to death of developers being such globally ignorant twats.

  2. What next? Desmond in a desert?
