Square Enix has released a video giving a glimpse of the driving action gamers can expect in Sleeping Dogs.

The video confirms the player will be able to drive cars, bikes & boats, with there being a total of over 65 different vehicles. Â Sleeping Dogs will also feature illegal street racing and car chases, which is to be expected from this type of game.
A couple of the more interesting parts of the video point to Action Hijacking, where you can leap from one vehicle to another to steal it. Also, near the end it shows a character jumping off a bike while continuing to shoot.
Sleeping Dogs is set to release on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC at some point in the second half of 2012.

Action Hijacking reminds me of Pursuit Force. Kinda looks like NFS crossed with GTA.

Yep, colour me interested. Wasn’t sold on it based on what I’d seen previously (though the live action thing was cool) but that looks good.
