Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Release Date Confirmed

City Interactive has announced that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will release on August 21st, 2012.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 uses the CryEngine 3 engine which creates diverse environments and  is said to help ” produce the most authentic sniping experience to date in a video game.”

The original sold over 2 million copies since its release in 2010. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will release on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC.

  1. What did people think of the Sniper Elite V2 demo?

      For me personally it looks better as a game than this does.

    • I really enjoyed the demo, and I really like 3rd person games. Only concern for me is that it will get repetitive. However since it can already be preordered for around £32, I shall wait for reviews and then maybe wait for a price drop too. Online co-op sounds good though!

    • Personally, I thought the demo was fantastic. Hopefully City Interactive will have stepped their game up to match it.

  2. This may compete with Far Cry 3, Similar style of game (ish) similar release date ECT… Only the charts will tell which wins ;)

  3. I really enjoyed the first game, i think i’m the only one who did! Can’t wait for 2.
