Datura Hits PSN On May 9th, Features Dualshock Support

Plastic has just confirmed that oddball PSN Move em’ up, Datura, will be available to purchase in two weeks’ time, on May 9th. The studio also announced that the game will support stereoscopic 3D and will even allow Move-less players to get a slice of the action with Dualshock 3 compatibility. We’ve yet to see a price posted. Hopefully it will be in the same ballpark as Plastic last PSN release, Linger in Shadows. Trophies are a cert, though whether Datura will swagger onto the store with a platinum in tow remains to be seen.

  1. Looking forward to this, hopefully its at a good price, with a PS Plus reduction of 20% too :)

    • Well it’s $ 7.99 for ps+ in USA so I guess it’s about £9.99 for Uk ps+ members.

      • same as I am Alive then really. Would prefer £7.99

      • Don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote but I meant £5.99 for the UK :P.(about that price, could be £1 more)

      • Doubt it

      • knowing sony you might be right the first time. ^_^

  2. Datura flowers are sometimes called “Moonflowers” and is used as a hallucinogen.

“Datura intoxication typically produces effects similar to that of an anticholinergic delirium (as contrasted to hallucination): a complete inability to differentiate reality from fantasy; hyperthermia; tachycardia; bizarre, and possibly violent behavior; and severe mydriasis with resultant painful photophobia that can last several days. Pronounced amnesia is another commonly reported effect.”

Think that explains the game plot then :)

    • sounds great! where can i buy one? :)

      • Psssst…. Meet me in General Chat. Wear a yellow rose.

  3. Linger in Shadows has been lingering at the bottom of my hdd so i hope Datura is more fleshed out but i’m quite looking forward to seeing what it’s all about.
