Hitman: Absolution Gets Risky Release Date

Agent 47 has recieved his new target and it’s his biggest to date.

Square Enix have announced that Hitman: Absolution will be coming out November 20th this year, falling into the rather hectic Christmas release schedule. Will this hinder or help them in sales? Who knows, but with the completely jam packed month, I hope you’ve all been saving your pennies.

You will need them.

Square also announced an interesting pre-order bonus. If you pre-order now, you will gain access to a bonus game called Hitman: Sniper Challenge. No prizes for guessing what it involves. However, it does promise to unlock in-game content such as the Silenced Agency Kazo TRG. Nice touch.

Oh and it has been confirmed that you can preorder, get the code, then cancel. Worth the effort?

  1. Can’t wait. It’s going to be brilliant!

What other games are out in November though?

    • Off top of head. Cod, warfighter, RE 6, Witcher 2 I think and either DMC or DOA. Oh and maybe Halo too. I might be wrong about that. Plus many more on top of that.

      • Out of that list, Hitman is easily the most important, for me at least.

      • Witcher 2 came out last month :P And yes, Halo 4 comes out November 6th.

      • Quite a few then. Although, I don’t see many having a similar style to hitman so they should be safe. Well I say that…only safe if people wanna buy it. I definitely will be.

  2. I HATE the word Gets.

    • I put it in there just for you. I do too. But I still use it, as you can see :P

    • I hate the word “recieved” mostly because, you know, it’s not a word.

      • Ah yeh seems to have been a bad peice for mey grammar eh!!?? ;)

  3. Haha… looks like a pass then.

  4. Resi 6 in October, Hitman in November.
    Cannot. Wait.
Doubt I will pre order for though.

  5. Going to a be a HUGE year for games come October-November so many huge titles so little money!.

  6. ARE THEY MAD!? Even a madman knows that is the month to avoid. Release it either in december or during a dead period. It’s going to get buried by COD and other titles that are released that month. AC:R was destroyed by the other games that were released last november.

  7. Hitman seems like a way better game than COD but sadly the latter one will dominate the sales charts until at least March 13…

  8. Tbh I’m not fussed what month they choose to release it. I love the Hitman series and have been waiting a long time for this game so it will take priority over any other game released around that time.

  9. Thats my birthday and its my favorite game so i no what i want for my birthday :D
