Dark Souls PC Additional Content Coming To PS3/360

We know that Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be coming to PC on 24th August with a wealth of additional content not currently available for the console versions of the game.

Developer From Software has announced that the Artorias of the Abyss expansion, featuring new areas, bosses, enemies, armour and weapons, will eventually be released on 360/PS3 as well.

The content will cost 1200 Microsoft points or $15 on Playstation Network and should arrive sometime this winter, according to IGN.

Additionally, From Software has revealed that the PC version will arrive on Steam, not just Games for Windows Live.

  1. Great news on all fronts. This is easily one of my fave games this gen. Brilliant that if I get it for PC at some stage I won’t have to buy it through that awful Games of Windows Live rubbish.

  2. Awesome news, thank you From.

  3. Interesting. Very interesting. Looking forward to the console DLC.

  4. That’s great, and hopefully less than a tenner!

  5. This is truly a piece of magical news. I just have to beat my first game on it but I’ve been trying out PvPing (I say ‘trying out’ because I’ve been woeful at it.)

  6. I really should play some more of this, it’s just such an investment of time, energy and brain matter to get anywhere and I really don’t have it to spare at the moment. Love what I’ve played though.

  7. Awesome :) I was certain the extra content would arrive on consoles at some point, but it’s great to have an official confirmation now. Can’t wait to see the new areas :)
