Perhaps it wasn’t ready to be deployed just yet, but the Battlefield 3 Premium trailer has leaked a little early. I’m not going to pretend I know what this is all about – Battlefield isn’t my thing – but as I understand it, it’s similar to Call of Duty Elite and the Season Pass DLC we’ve seen for other games.
We’ve already seen a leaked blog post revealing that it should be released, well, today, and a leaked spec sheet showing what the service actually offers, but the trailer below puts that all into a nicely styled video for your pleasure.
Maybe EA should get some buckets, pans, tape and perhaps even a plumber as it seems to be a very leaky system they’re running.

Are the vehicles on PS3 too? On PC you could drive a forklift. Also BF3 Premium is on PS Store but can’t be accessed yet :/

You can drive the forklift on consoles too. The difference is it’s only available on one map, Wake Island, were as on PC it’s also featured on Gulf of Oman. It’s at the main base on the island to the side of the building that houses the flag. I assume this is the vehicle you’re talking about.

Just updated BF3 to version 1.05, and several mentions of premium conent, but none currently available. There are some extra dog tags I can use.
However, biggest thing currently – can’t browse the servers “your software version does not match the server browser version” (or something similar). Guess they will be updated later, but if you need to update to play, it’s a pain.

Oh, forgot. When I use the server filter, there is now an option to include premium servers, although whether I select it or not, I get the above error afterwards.

I think the servers will be updated today from 5-8pm. BF3 should be playable after that… hopefully! :P

Been playing BF since day1 so I think I may have to pick this up as I will eventually but all the DLC anyway. The upgrades don’t give you an advantage in my opinion but nice to have them all the same.

Similar to Elite bar you get unfair advantages, like front of queue preference & I wouldn’t be surprised if theres other factors included.
