Sound Shapes, the unique puzzle/platformer game is coming to PS3 and PSVita in just over two months. That’s August 8th, to be precise. Sony have announced this date and revealed a few other details over on the PlayStation Blog, ahead of their E3 conference later tonight.
It’ll be available for £9.99 or €12.99, and that will net you both the PS3 and the Vita versions, so it appears to be quite a good deal; one that’s worked for other games such as MotorStorm RC. You’re able to share content between both versions of the game very easily, too, “without really having to think about it” as Matthew Kumar, from the Sound Shapes Team, says on the PSBlog.
It’s a community content based game, so all of the levels will be available across both versions. We went hands-on with the game last year and actually enjoyed it quite a lot; it certainly seems like a unique handheld experience.
They’ve also released a new gameplay video showing off the Superbrothers levels, which is below, if you’re still not sure what the game is all about or just want to see some more.

Excellent.
And a PS3 version too? Free? :D
That’s a bonus for me, although it that does mean the Vita has one less exclusive…

Yeah it is really good, I would have bought it anyway, and now at that price. Lovely.
