Sony have announced that PlayStation Plus members will be getting free, originally disk-based games, starting tomorrow – at least in North America. inFamous 2, LittleBigPlanet 2 and Saints Row 2 are all amongst a group of 12 games that will hit the North American PS+ tomorrow.
Part of a rotation, there will be 12 games available at a time, exactly what those games will be will change regularly. How regular that will be is unknown at this time. We also don’t have any information as to when this is coming to the EU – it could be tomorrow, but we can’t confirm either way until SCEE wake up. We can confirm that it’s an amazing offer and EU PlayStation owners will go a little crazy if we – uh, they don’t get it soon.

I’d like to see this organised by genre, e.g 12 games, 4 RPG’s 4 shooters and 4 others. Something along these lines would be pretty sweet. Hoping the level of games released are high, it’s all very well giving away free games but they have to be decent games in the 1st place for this to atrract more plus customers. SR2, Infamous 2 and LBP2 aren’t bad to begin with, if EU do indeed get the same games. I bought LBP2 ages ago on another account, since I made a new one i’ve wanted to delete it but didnt want to lose a full game I paid full whack for, guess this kills two birds with one stone ;)
