Dyad is excellent. I know, that’s a subjective statement that some people will disagree with. Those people are numpties. So there.
Of course, if you watched our video (below) of the opening levels of Dyad or read our detailed impressions, you’ll probably already know whether Dyad is the game for you or whether you’re one of those numpties who doesn’t think it’s awesome.
Here’s the new trailer, which is lovely:
If you’re still not quite sure, you’ll be glad to know that there’s a demo on the way. It’ll have the first five levels and it’ll be here today, at least in the US and Canada.
The game gets much better at around level 10 or so once more mechanics are introduced, but at least you’ll get some idea if you’re in Europe and haven’t tried it yet.
Hurrah!

It’s up now btw.

I’ve got it last week, but damn, this game is hard. Getting trophies is a frustrating task. I’d prefer a snap grid control scheme over the continuous approach they used, would make things a lot more interesting.

Anyone know a reliable source for american psn store download credit?

I used to use this guy. Might be worth dropping him a line on eBay. Reliable as can be so far. Emailed me the code for the store after I bought a top-up card with him.

I’m quite keen to try it after the high praise you guys have given it, still haven’t been able to quite ‘get’ it from the description and videos so a hands-on will definitely help. Off to the US store i go..

Downloade it last night and played the demo this morning, was very impressed by Dyad especially the music and how everything flows together nicely.
Off topic though, im not really on the US PSN, once in a blue moon but has anyone noticed how much better the PSN is compared to the EU PSN and not just the quantity/quality of games on offer but just the overall look and feel to it, it’s miles ahead of EU’s PSN.
