Sitorimon vs CarBoyCam
The Third Place Play Off started off with a closely fought battle in Knock Out. However, Cam was able dispel his losing streak, and end Sitorimon’s winning streak, taking himself 1-0 up. Unfortunately this left Sitorimon on the back foot for Head 2 Head and by the start of Race Off Cam had already secured 3rd place overall. Sitorimon couldn’t do much to stop Cam at this point, and the third place man completely dominated the Play Off 3-0.

MadJunkBoy vs THLNetwork
The hotly anticipated final started off with a very close Knock Out which was won by THLNetwork in his refined vehicle choice. However, MadJunkBoy showed true class in Head 2 Head, beating THL by two seconds overall and levelling the scores! It would all come down to the Race Off then.
Although starting behind THL, MJB took to the lead very quickly and dominated the event for almost the entire five laps. That was until the final corner of the final lap where THL snuck up on the inside of MJB and took the win and the tournament!
So a huge congratulations to THLNetwork on becoming the new DiRT Champion! Commiserations to MadJunkBoy though who thoroughly deservers his second place. Hope to see you lot signing up to further TSAN events!

I think MJB was looking like the favourite going into the final too, so an underdog win? Does that count??
& indeed commiserations to MJB who had a nice little run of success to the top & just got pipped to the post. Still, silver is still nice mate!

yeahh i was thinking about doing some tuesday meets again, but there seems to be little interest in DiRT3 so i was thinking going for another showdown meet on tuesdays =)

I was suggesting Showdown for Tuesdays, as a replacement for Dirt 3. :)
As you say, i don’t think there is a massive amount of interest in Dirt 3 now, as most people that were going to have platted it (& gotten rid of it in some cases!).
I have kinda given up on it myself – I may do the odd trophy here or there before trading it, but unless i can discover some way to stick tires to snow, i will never beat the bobsled & therefore never plat it. Not something i like to admit, but its kinda nice in a way, as i can dictate how much or how little time i put into it.
But back on topic – Dirt Showdown meets. Tuesdays. About 8pm? Who’s in?

Yeah, there is a thread in the meets section regarding Motorstorm Apocalypse &the next tourney.
To be honest with you, i had no idea that existed either until it was mentioned here.
Interestingly enough though, there appears to be no link to ‘TSA Meets’ in the forums at the moment. I had to reverse engineer it by jumping into one of my meets posts & then navigating back! :O

Congratulations Tom, at last the middle step of the podium from the usual one step to the left or right in racing tournaments. I must admit though that I had JunkBoy down as favourite to take it…he is definately a level above when it comes to offroad arcade racers, so unlucky to him, but congratulations on the Silver. ;)
Also well done to Captain James Kirk for the coverage of the whole tournament. ;)

Thanks for the well wishes, was a great tournament that was expertly organised by Death_In_Flamez. Great final video too. There definitely wasn’t any contact on the last corner and the accident earlier in the same race was simply as a result of me clipping the wall on the inside.
MJB was an ace character to race against and in the meats. T-Bones are now officially Tea-Bags and I can swear in Swedish now! Great fun against all the other competitors too!
