We’ve been playing a near final version of the game for about a week and it’s wonderful, so when will the final version be out?
The 19th of September, in Europe. In Japan it’ll be on the 20th, and the US will get the game on the 25th. We’re expecting the UK release date to be the 21st, which is the Friday.
Our full report on the game, including our thoughts on the story mode and something called The Arcade, will be next week, so stay tuned if you’ve already played the Beta and are keen to know what the rest of the game feels like.

Is there a UK date, or is it out that day? A Wednesday seems somewhat odd. It would usually be a Friday..

Europe is always Wednesday except UK & Ireland which is a Friday. Anyone know why that is?

There must be a reason.
I just think it is stupid, there’s no reason not to release worldwide on one day, unless there’s translation problems.. which there won’t be for games like this.

Do people in the UK get paid on Fridays? If that’s the case then that’s probably the reason. People have money in their pockets and can spend it on new stuff.

Would be nice to get the File size soon and if it has a Music sequencer because I play with that a lot on LBP2 would be amazing if its on the Vita.

Great stuff. Probably won’t pick it up at launch (I’ve only scratched the surface with LBP2) but will do so in future.
